Innsbruck - the state capital

As well as its historic flair and any number of sights (such as the Golden Roof), Innsbruck has quite a lot to offer in sporting terms. The Tyrolean state capital has already twice hosted the Winter Olympics (1964 and 1976). And, in January, the annual highlight is the Vierschanzen tournament: a ski jumping competition in Berg Isel.
